Biography--

Rosanne “Rosie” Paine, 53, of LaPorte City, Iowa, died Saturday, June 6, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa.

She was born December 20, 1961 in Waterloo, daughter of Burl and LaVonne Roethler Armstrong. She married Jeff Paine on October 10, 1981 in Raymond.

Rosie was Finance Manager of Paine’s RV and Victory Motorcycles for 35 years.

Survivors include: her husband; a son, Brandon Paine of LaPorte City; an adopted great niece, Amy Caughron of LaPorte City; two grandchildren, Jayden and Jewel Paine; her mother of Waterloo; two brothers, Roland (Linda) Armstrong and Rodney (Susan) Armstrong, both of Waterloo; three sisters, Rhonda Nichols and Rebecca (Leonard) Caughron, both of Waterloo and Regina (Tom) Belmer of Denver; and her mother-in-law, Arlene “Porky” (Larry) Dodd of Washburn.

Preceded in death by: her father; and her father-in-law, Bruce Paine.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with burial in Poyner Township Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, and at the church for an hour before services on Thursday.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Rosie loved time with family and friends, enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding and traveling. Most important to her was time with her husband, son, Amy and grandchildren.
