Darlene R. Wandro, 82, of Waterloo, died Thursday, July 30, at Unity Point Allen Hospital.

She was born January 12, 1933 in Granger, Iowa, daughter of Harold and Martha Bean Baldwin.

She married Charles Wandro on April 7, 1967, in Cedar Falls. He died April 2, 2015.

Darlene was a homemaker and child care provider.

Survivors include her two sons, Gene (Julie) Wandro of Mankato, Minnesota, and Jim (Kim) Weigel of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Patti Parmenter of Des Moines; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Baldwin of Tripoli; a sister, Vera (Earl) Lumm of Mason City.

Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Ruby Onken and Delia Rank; three brothers, Harry Nickolson, Burdette Baldwin and Stanley Baldwin.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Hagarty – Waychoff – Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary by the Legion of Mary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice.
