Ray A. Glick

Ray A. Glick, 90 of Waterloo died July 25th, at Bethany Life, Story City, Iowa.

He was born May 21, 1925 in Pana, Ill., son of Dale and Ethel Campbell Glick. He married the love of his life, Nora Wittnam on May 1,1952, in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Ray served as Sergeant First Class in Korea with the 38th Field Artillery Battalion. He graduated from the American Institute of Baking and was employed by Wonder Bread for 42 years, the last 20 as production superintendent in Waterloo. He retired in the early '90's.

Survivors include his wife Nora of Bethany Life; a son, Allen (Sharla) Glick of Kelley, Iowa; a brother, Kenneth (Sue) Glick of Tulsa, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Homer Glick.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation will be for one hour before services at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
