Alice L. Hall, 79 of the Western Home Communities, died Saturday September 12, 2015, at Unity Point Health – Allen Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1936 in Cherokee, Iowa, daughter of Charles R. and Mary Pitts Leonard. She married Burdett N. Hall April 28, 1962 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waterloo. He died in 1991.

Alice was a Pioneer with the phone company for over thirty years.

Survivors include: a son, William L. (Rhonda) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Dana (Steve) Southworth of Waterloo and Alisa (T.J. Wiley) Hall of Apple Valley, Minn.; a son-in-law, Lee Meier of Colorado; six grandchildren, Wade (Tonya) Gerstenkorn, Erin Gerstenkorn, Dennis (Leasa) Hofmann, Angie Young, Lauren and Ethan Hall; 6 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Tara Meier; and a brother, William Leonard.

Memorial Services will be Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in St. Mary Cemetery, Vinton. Public visitation will be Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, where there will be a 4 p.m.rosary.

She was active in her church, enjoyed music and traveling .Alice’s greatest joy was “visiting” with her family and friends.
