Biography--

Elner L. Edsill, 91, of Waterloo, Iowa, died December 18, 2014, at her home.

She was born May 14, 1923 in Waterloo to Elmer and Bess (Lemper) Chamberlain. She was married to Clare Edsill in 1943, and they were later divorced.

Survivors include four daughters: Elizabeth (Robert) Stevens of Park Rapids, MN; Cecilia Newton of Waterloo; Mary (Tom) Holstein of Napa, CA; Martha (Ron) Gilmore of Redwood City, CA; and son Henry (Norma) Edsill of Cedar Falls. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a brother Robert Chamberlain, and sister-in-law Anne Chamberlain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Paul in infancy, and a brother Willard Chamberlain.
