Memorial Services will be held at Country View Care, 1410 West Dunkerton Road Waterloo, Iowa Note Change of Time at 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2015.

Cemetery:
Inurnment will take place at Waterloo Cemetery,1830 Kimball Avenue, after the services.

Biography--

Jerry L. Pelton, 56, of Waterloo, Iowa died at Country View Care on Monday, July 27, 2015.

Jerry Lee Pelton was born January 27, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Eugene and Ella Mae Geiger Pelton. He was one of five children in his family. He attended Central High School in Waterloo. He had worked at MetoKote and for the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.

He enjoyed fishing and the freedom of being outdoors. Jerry also enjoyed using his hands when fixing things or just working on making them better. He always cared about those less fortunate and did his best to be a voice for those who could not speak for themselves. He truly loved his red truck and was especially close to his brother, Terry.

Jerry is survived by his brothers Charles and his wife Marilyn and Allan and his wife Laurie, all of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry, sister Sandra Kay Smith, and nephew Troy Pelton.
