Judith A. 'Judy' Frost

WATERLOO, IOWA - Judith A. "Judy" Frost, 78, of Waterloo died at The Village of Legacy Pointe Senior Care Center in Waukee on Monday, May 4.

Judy was born February 16, 1937, in Mason City, the daughter of Alvin and Margaret (Johnson) Martin. She married Garry L. Frost on June 12, 1955, in Mason City. He died May 31, 2007.

Judy graduated from Mason City High School in 1955 and was an Avon representative for 27 years, retiring in 2010.

Survivors include: two sons, Steven (Starr) of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, and Russell (Lanette) of Clive; four granddaughters: Rochelle (Josh) Berry, Julia Frost, Janae (Tyler) Kern, and Laura Frost, two great-grandchildren, Evelynn Berry and Cayden Kern; sister, Gloria Calos of Oceanside, California; brother, Dwight Martin of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Mickie Frost of Panama City, Florida; her 'second' mother Melba Shank of Waterloo; and former daughter-in-law, Kari Rechtzigel of Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by: her parents; husband; brother, Alvin W. Martin; sister, Alviena Burns; and special friend, Georgia Angell.

Visitation: Monday, May 11, 4-7 p.m. at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, 319-233-6138.

Memorial Services: Tuesday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

Memorials: Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Village at Legacy Pointe, or UnityPoint Hospice.
