WATERLOO - Mary “Jean” Anderson, 79, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Nov. 10, 2014.

She was born Feb. 18, 1935, in Waterloo, daughter of Henry and Elfrieda Webbeking Eschwieler. She married Lenne L. Anderson on July 16, 1955, in Waterloo; he died Nov. 30, 2012.

Jean attended Waterloo East High School, and had worked as an inspector for John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring in 1995. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Don of Waterloo; a daughter, Susan McMullen of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Charlotte Casillas.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with inurnment in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today and an hour before services Thursday at the chapel.
