Funeral services for Felix George Bernal, 55, of 192 West 10th street, who died Thursday of a liver ailment at 11:45 p.m. in Veteran's Hospital, Des Moines, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Locke Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Kindschi, pastor of First Wesleyan Methodist Church will officiate.

Mr. Bernal was born Feb. 22, 1892, in San Jose, Cal., the son of Antonio and Mary Burnal. He married Susie Burdick Feb. 18, 1920, in McAlester, Okla.

Mr. Bernal was an employe of the Oklahoma division of the Rock Island Railroad from October of 1920 until 1943, at which time he was transferred to Waterloo.

He was taken to Veterans' Hospital Nov. 29, 1947.

Surviving are his widow, a son, Jerry, 13, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Fulks, 1757 Williston Street, a grandson; five brothers: John, Frank, Peter, Louis, his twin, and Thomas, all of San Jose, Cal., and a sister, Mrs. Julia Chaboye, also of San Jose.

He was a member of the American Legion and veteran of World War I. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
