Adolph Tarkelson. 67, died at the Black Hawk County Home at 3 a.m. Wednesday.

He was born in Norway, Dec. 17, 1869. and came to the United States at the age of 15. His first home in this country was at Davis, Ill., and he came to Waterloo 15 years ago. Since coming to Waterloo he had been janitor at Linden Methodist Episcopal Church until failing health forced him to give up his work and go to the countv home last fall.

He is survived by an adopted sister, Mrs. Joseph Wagner, 1331 Sycamore Street.

The body was taken to the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Adolph Tarkelson. 67, former janitor at the Linden Methodist Episcopal Church, who died Wednesday at the Black Hawk County Home, was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Firday at the Parrott & Wood Chapel by Rev. Roscoe B. Sires, pastor of Linden Church. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
