WATERLOO - Norma Klemz, 82, of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at NewAldaya Lifescapes of natural causes.

She was born June 29, 1932, at home near Greene, daughter of John and Viola Barth Steere. She married Roger Klemz on March 4, 1961, at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church.

Norma graduated from Plainfield High School in 1952. She worked in the kitchen at the Waterloo Brown Bottle.

Survived by her husband; a son Mark (Angela) of Clear Lake; a daughter, Melanie (Rodger) Klemz Smith of Waterloo; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Meranda, Trent, Tanner, Jared, Joshua, Stephanie and Jonathan; and four sisters, Donna (Marvin) Kraft of Waverly, Yvonne Faust of Waterloo, Irva (Robert) Bruns of Waverly and Myrna Redder of Orlando, Fla.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Hagenow and Mavis Clayton; and three brothers, Raymond, Dale and a brother in infancy

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
