Services for Orville L. Hamer, 90, of 5142 Kimball Ave., will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren with burial in Orange Township Cemetry.

He died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday of circulatory disease.

He was born Nov. 4, 1885, in Hooversville, Pa., the son of Thomas P. and Eliza Blough Hamer. He married Hazel Bridge Nov. 14, 1942, in Waterloo. He farmed in Orange Township since 1903.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Don Hamer of 4829 Kimball Ave., and Burlin B. Hamer of Fairfax, Va.; a daughter, Miss Lois V. Hamer of Los Angeles, Calif.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Rousselow of 2725 W. Orange Rd., and Mrs. Laura Keister of Baton Rouge, La.; and two sisters, Mrs. Paul E. Wingerd of 6147 KImball Ave., and Miss Maryanna Hamer of 6297 Kimball Ave.

Friends who wish may contribute to the memorial fun of the church in his name.

Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home after noon Wednesday.
