RAYMOND - Raymond Anthony Pint, 64, of Raymond, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, after a lengthy illness.

He was born May 7, 1942, in Waterloo, son of Harold E. and Margaret Remegia Wingert Pint. He married Carolyn Sue Kohut Leonard on May 22, 1982, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

He graduated from Don Bosco in 1960, then attended Gunsmith Training School in Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army, then worked as a machinist at John Deere Tractor Manufacturing Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1995.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert (Elizabeth) Leonard of Pittsburgh, Michael (Mary) Leonard of Raymond and Danny of Williams, Ore.; a daughter, Kathy (Al) Youngblut of Dunkerton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sister Rose Mary Pint of Wheaton, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Shirley Pint of Pinetop, Ariz.; and a brother, Gene (Becky) of Raymond.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Norman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Raymond. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice.
