EVANSDALE — Mrs. Elsie F. Carkuff, 71, of 324 Trail Ave., died Sunday afternoon of complications of cancer. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with burial in the Garden of Memories.

She was born Jan. 12, 1906, in Stetin, Germany, the daughter of Albert and Anna Stahlkopf. She was married to William Rentschler in 1928. He died in 1946. She married Charles Carkuff Dec. 13, 1947.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West in Waterloo from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and at the church until service time.

Mrs. Carkuff has no immediate relatives surviving.

Memorials may be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
