RENTSCHLER, STAHLKOPF

The body of William Herman Rentschler, 45, Carroll, Ia., formerly of Waterloo, will be brought to Kearns Garden chapel at 2 p. m. Wednesday. It will lie in state until 3:30 p.m. when Rev. J. S. Deedrick, pastor of First Evangelical Church, will conduct burial services at Fairview cemetery.

Rentschler was killed early Monday morning when the car he was driving crashed into a steel bridge railing seven miles northwest of Carroll, Ia.

He was born May 5, 1901, in Teinasch, Germany, and came to Waterloo in 1926. He was employed here by Diamond Bros., Cedar Falls, until 1932, when he moved to Carroll, Ia., and operated a grocery store and meat market.

On Oct. 17, 1927, he married Elsie Stahlkopf in Waterloo, who survives.

He was a member of the Elks club, the Eagles and the Masons, at Carroll, Ia.

Funeral services will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
