Mrs. Margaretha Schiller Dage was born in Baiern, Germany, September 27, 1827, and died in Eagle Township, Blackhawk County, Iowa, January 7, 1897, after an illness of three months from dropsy of the heart.

The husband and two married daughters, all residing in this county, sruviver her.

The family have lived in Eagle Township for upwards of twenty years.

The funeral services were held January 10th, at the German Baptist Church in Orange Township, conducted by Rev.. S. H. Miller. Mrs. Dage was highly esteemed by her friends as was evidenced by the large concourse of people present at the funeral services.
