Clarence V. Fink, 87, formerly of Denver, died Dec. 28, 2005, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home, Strawberry Point, of natural causes.

He was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Waterloo, son of Leonard J. and Selma Homrighause Fink. He married Joyce Neuendorf on Dec. 18, 1985. She died May 14, 2004.

Mr. Fink was the fire alarm superintendent for the city of Waterloo, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include a son, John (Janet) of Walsenburg, Colo.; a daughter, Jackie (Mike) Connell of Mission, Texas; three stepsons, Jerry (Elaine) Neuendorf of Denver, Curt and Randy (Karen) Neuendorf, both of Tripoli; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Veryl (Greta) of Windsor, Colo.; and a sister, Evelyn of Tennessee.

Preceded in death by a sister, Florence; and a brother, Darwin.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tripoli, with inurnment in the church cemetery. Rettig Funeral Home, Tripoli, is in charge of arrangements.
