CEDAR FALLS - Anthony “Tony” Kozak, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at NorthCrest in Waterloo.

He was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Rome, N.Y., son of Joseph and Martha Marzynski Kozak. He married Hazel M. Fox Livingston on Dec. 31, 1966, in Galena, Ill.

Mr. Kozak worked as a union carpenter throughout his life.

Survived by a daughter, Patricia (Mike) Kozak-Byrnes of Waterloo; three stepdaughters, Sylvia Alberts of Las Vegas, June Livingston-Zmolek of Clarksville and Mary Lou (Dennis) Kruse of Lansing; a grandchild; seven stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a stepgrandson; and several brothers and sisters.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 Honor Guard. Visitation for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
