Arthur Cragle Dies from Accident Injuries Friday.

Funeral services for Arthur L. Cragle, 48, of 101 Stacey Circle, were held Tuesday, October 6, 1981, at 1:00 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, Waterloo. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania with Kearns-Dykeman Chapel in charge of services.

Mr. Cragle passed away Friday night at Schoitz Hospital as a result of injuries he suffered in a motorcycle-truck accident at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Cragle, traveling north on Highway 63, attempted to make a left turn from the highway onto Waterloo Road at the intersection near Keith Motors. A semi-truck driven by Duane Kelly of Westville, Oklahoma, started to pass the vehicle at the same time and hit the cycle broadside.

He was born January 21, 1933, at Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania, the son of Orval and Mildred Briggs Cragle. He was married to Lenore Whitesell on June 26, 1954 at Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania.

He was employed as an inspector at Waterloo John Deere and also owned Art Cragle Realty, Hudson. They have lived in Hudson since 1974.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a 1960 graduate of San Jose, California.

Survivors include his wife; his parents; four sons, David R., at home, Stephen P. of St. Paul, Minnesota, Scott A. of Ames and Jonathon L. at home; two brothers, Alvin of Lehman, Pennsylvania and Orval Jr., of Benson, Arizona; one sister, Cora Hoagland of Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania.
