Donna J. Fulton, 71, of Waterloo died on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Friendship Village Retirement Center.

She was born on October 18, 1933 in Redfield, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Mable (Morrison) Bailey. She married Bill A. Fulton on April 15, 1955 in Nashua, Iowa. He died December 19, 1996.

Donna graduated from Adel High School in 1951 and Iowa State Teachers College in 1955 with a Teaching Degree and a minor in speech. Donna taught in the Waterloo Community School system for 37 years, retiring in 1997.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the P.E.O. Chapter LO, and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a dedicated volunteer at Allen Memorial Hospital and Cedar Valley Hospice. Donna wanted to be needed in people’s lives. She cared genuinely about others and made a special point to be involved in their lives. Her grandchildren were a huge part in her life and she was known by “Grams”.

Donna is survived by her son, Douglas Fulton and his wife Tina of West Des Moines; daughter, Becky Coffelt and her husband Bob of Eagle Grove; five grandchildren: Ian and Brian Coffelt and Kylie, Tyler, and Olivia Fulton; and brother, Bruce Bailey and his wife Barbara of Redfield, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Bill.
