WATERLOO - Christine Marie "Chris" Lacey, 40, of Des Moines, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at her home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1966, in Waterloo, daughter of Joanne and Gerald Drilling.

Survived by two sons, Brogan and Declan; her ex-husband, John Lacey; her parents, Joanne and Gerald Drilling of Jesup; six sisters, Jody (Marsha) Maxfield and Peggy Drilling, both of Des Moines, Gina (George) Wagner of Norwalk, Maureen (Andy Apel) Drilling of Raymond, Mary (Mike) Terry of Independence and Rose Ivy of Jesup; and three brothers, Ken (Debbie) Drilling of Minnesota, and Marty (Marie) Drilling and Steve (Jana) Drilling, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Mel Ivy.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, with inurnment in Glendale Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to The Downtown School, or The American Cancer Society for anal cancer research.
