WATERLOO - Helga E. Denniston, 77, of Clinton, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, died April 18, 2007 at the Harbor House of Clinton.

She was born July 27, 1929, in Stuttgart, Germany, daughter of Karl and Martha Deininger. She married Wesley C. Denniston on May 19, 1951, in Stuttgart. He died in 1993.

Mrs. Denniston was a nursing assistant for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia l. Wolter of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Lorrie L. (Lt. Cmdr. Richard) Goodwyn of Santago, Chile; two sons, Scott (Sue) of Waterloo and James (Liz) of Clayton, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Michael.

Memorial service will be held locally at a later date, with inurnment in Arlington National Veterans Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Steinke Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lake Geneva, is assisting the family.
