Joshua A. Wahl, age 35, formerly of Glenwood City, Wis., died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at the Clairemont Nursing and Rehab Center, Eau Claire, Wis., following a recent illness.

Josh was born Aug. 3, 1979, in Waterloo, to Fred Wahl and Karen Nichols. He attended school in Menomonie, Wis. He loved life, coloring and never complained. Josh enjoyed being with family and friends and listening to Willie Nelson.

Josh is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Virginia Wahl.

He is survived by his parents, Fred (Deborah) Wahl of Elberon and Karen (Gary) Palmerton of Menomonie; siblings, Joel Wahl (Lisa Garrison) of Holland, Jenny Wahl (Wayne Riethmiller) of Greenwood, Wis., and Jeremy Wahl (Ashley) of Glenwood City; and maternal grandparents Wesley and Phyllis Nichols of Glenwood City. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services 2 p.m. today, Aug. 22, at Anderson Funeral Home, Glenwood City, where friends may call from noon until services. Interment will be held at a later date.
