WATERLOO - Alfred D. Pullin, 77, of Seymour, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour.

He was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Iowa, son of Donald and Blanche Wilson Pullin.

Mr. Pullin was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was twice president of the Seymour Lions. He farmed in Iowa and Wisconsin in both dairy and sheep, and owned Professional Mowing, Seymour.

Survived by five daughters: Marie Purdy of Algoma, Wis., Gail (Brian) Bellis and Kathy Pullin, both of Waterloo, Barb (Gary) Pullin of Denver, Colo., and Jodi (Chris) Miles of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Larry of Dunkerton and Marty (Nicole) of Brooklyn, Wis.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Mary Esther) of Waterloo; two sisters, Donna Osgood of Arcadia, Calif., and Sue Nicol of Waterloo; and his partner, Ann Nabbefeldt of Seymour.

Preceded in death by a grandson; a daughter-in-law, Patti; and two brothers-in-law, Roger Osgood and Bud Nicol.

Services: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, with visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m. Additional services 1 p.m. Saturday at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, 6227 Kimball Ave., Waterloo, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Orange Township, Waterloo.

Memorials may be directed to Seymour Lions.
