HILBERT E. MYERS

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Community Church in Hudson for Hilbert E. Myers, 60, Applington, formerly of Waterloo, who died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital at 11 a.m. Friday of a coronary occlusion. The Rev. Gerald Stevens, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home until noon tomorrow.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1911 in Hudson, the son of Floyd and Loretta Webber Myers. Mr. Myers was employed by the Rath Packing Co. for 17 years and with the Hudson Cooperative Dairy for 15 years.

He married Florence Smith in Walker, Minnesota on July 8, 1946. They resided in Hudson until 1968 when they moved to Aplington.

Surviving are his wife; step-mother, Mrs. Ila Myers of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Dennis of Mason City; Joe at home; two daughters, Loretta and Julie, both at home; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
