WATERLOO - Mildred L. Hinson, 92, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 5, 1913, in La Porte City, daughter of Jess and Myrtle Powell Nation. She married Gerald A. Hinson on May 18, 1938, in Grundy Center. He died Nov. 4, 1966.

Mrs. Hinson worked at Rath Packing Co. for 16 years, then at Hinson Manufacturing for 23 years, retiring in 1987.

Survived by a sister, Marge Warren of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Marvel Lentz; and three brothers, Virgil, Roscoe and Vernon.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
