COTTON, PEEK, HEWITT

Mrs. Alice Cotton, wife of John Cotton, died at their home in East Waterloo Township, about three miles east of Waterloo, at 3 o'clock this morning.

Mrs. Cotton was 67 years, 4 months and 7 days old, and, with her husband, had lived on the farm where she died for upwards of 30 years. She had been a patient sufferer for nearly a year.

The funeral services will be held at the residence at 1 p. m. tomorrow, and will be conducted by Rev. J. Hallowell, of this city, and Rev. Stubbs, of Raymond.

The deceased, leaves many friends, a husband, five boys and two girls to mourn her loss. The children are Mrs. James Peek and Mrs. Walter Hewitt, of Waterloo, George in Oklahoma, Enoch in Kansas, John and Charles at home on the farm and Ephraim a dentist in Waterloo.

The interment takes place in Fairview Cemetery.
