WATERLOO - MacKenzie Michael "Mac" Dehl, 27, of 712 Dawson St., died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from complications of a head injury from a fall.

He was born Sept. 23, 1979, in Waterloo, son of Dwight B. and Susan M. Duggan Dehl. He attended Columbus High School and Waterloo West High School, and was employed as a Realtor in the Waterloo area. He was a member of the Iowa Board of Realtors.

Survivors include his parents of Waterloo; the love of his life, Jame Fell, and her daughter Shannon of Waterloo; a brother, Adam Blake (Lorene) Dehl of Waterloo; a sister, Bridget Dehl (Gary Gulley) of Chicago; two nephews, Gavin Gulley and soon-to-be born, DeClan Gulley; two nieces, Sophia and Cecelia Dehl; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Roy Duggan; maternal grandparents, Everett "Buddy" and Dorothy Dehl; uncle and aunt, Ray and Sally Weber; and uncle, Bruce Dehl.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
