CEDAR FALLS - Gary M. McInroy, 73, of Cedar Falls, died at home Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014.

He was born March 7, 1941, in Cedar Falls, son of Merle L. and Opal A. Davids McInroy. He married Norma Fulcher on Nov. 18, 1961, in Waterloo.

Gary graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1959 and was employed as experimental test technician with John Deere PEC. He attended Trinity Bible Church, Cedar Falls, and had been a member of Turkeyfoot Longrifles Black Powder Club and Boy Scouts of America.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Lisa (Troy) Denkinger of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a son, David (Julie) of Marion; a granddaughter, Evelyn McInroy of Marion; a brother, Kent (Ilene) of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; a sister, Kay Walters of Flint, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Bible Church, followed by a luncheon. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment will occur at a later date in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Richardson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church or World Vision International.
