EVANSDALE - Teresa Lynn Olson, 58, of Evansdale, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Waterloo, daughter of Gerald and Margarie Riggs Rutter. She married Kevin Olson, and they have been together for 34 years.

Teresa graduated from East High in 1973 and worked for GMAC Mortgage for 17 years.

Survived by her husband; two children, Leslie Pecenka and Eric (Kodie) Olson; three sisters, Linda Ambrose, Pam Pohlman and Dollie Walton; a brother, Jerry Rutter; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by her mother; her stepfather, Dean Salo; and a sister, Karla Rutter.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo.
