Committal services for William Allen, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Allen, 515 Summer St., were Monday at 3:30 p. m. at Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Samuel Davis, pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church officiated.

William Allen died of congenital complications Saturday at 9:20 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital. He was born at 7:12 p.m. Saturday.

Surviving are his parents, Vernon and Violet; three brothers, Vernon Jr., Robert Arthur and Ronald George; one sister, Charlotte, and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Allen, 325 Halsted St.

The body was at Kistner Funeral Home.
