WATERLOO - Dorothy Agnes Weber, 85, of 3720 Village Place, Apt. 5203, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born June 20, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of William and Rose Funnfis Bovy. She married John Paul Weber on Oct. 8, 1941, at Eagle Center. He died Oct. 6, 1999.

She was a dedicated mother and farm wife who was also employed for 13 years in housekeeping with Friendship Village, retiring in 1983. She was a charter member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and involved in countless volunteering activities at St. Edwards and Covenant Medical Center.

Survived by a son, John (Kathy) of Dysart; four daughters, Joyce Ann (Richard) Griesbach of Milwaukee, Janice Marie (Brad) Schultz of Minneapolis, Linda Marie Craft of Kellogg and Carol Ann (Steve) Pope of Jefferson; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Susan; four brothers, Albert (Loretta) Bovy, Raymond (Margaret) Bovy, Walter Bovy and Joseph Bovy in infancy; and five sisters, Emma (Omer) Conrad, Viola Bovy in infancy, Stella (Andrew) Fischels, Magdalen (Chris) Schmitz and Louise (Lee) Renner.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Senior Citizens rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be given in her name to Friendship Village or Columbus High School.
