PARSONS, OLDS, SMITH, WASKOW

[Waterloo Evening Courier, Friday, August 5, 1927, Waterloo, Iowa]

Mrs. Polly A. wife of A. J. Parsons, 1000 Jefferson Street, died last midnight of complications following a stroke of paralysis. She was 77 years old.

Born Jan. 6, 1850 in Pennsylvania, the deceased, when a small child moved with her parents to Iowa, settling on a farm near Fairbank. On Jan. 6. 1925, she was married to Mr. Parsons.

Surviving besides her husband are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Elin* Waskow, Mrs. Mertie** Smith, and Alonzo G. Olds, Sumner; L. D. Olds, Marysville, Kan., and E. B. Olds, Waterloo.

Mrs. Parsons was a member of the Salvation Army.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow from Petersen Brother's Chapel in charge of the Salvation Army. Interment will be in Wilson's Grove Cemetery near Sumner.
