WATERLOO - John B. Witt, 68, of Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, died there Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.

He was born Jan. 17, 1937, in Waterloo, son of Loren and Ethel Brinkman Witt. He graduated from West High School in 1956, and attended Cornell College. He taught piano lessons and was a church organist at churches in Waterloo and Cedar Falls.

Survived by caregiver and special friend, Sally Kuntz of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Waterloo First United Methodist Church.
