Born Michelle Marie Dowie, July 21, 1971 at Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Frank D. & Pamela M. Nockels Dowie.

She married Bradley Allen Friedly May 27, 1995, in Waterloo. They had two sons Tanner and Tate.

Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo.
