Doris Hansen, 90, passed away June 28, 2014, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Born in Waterloo, she lived most of her life in Cedar Falls, before moving to Sun City, Ariz., where she resided for 28 years.

Doris was a prolific golfer and avid bridge player. She was the head of Black Hawk County Republicans in Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 1996, and is survived by her children, Kim Sayers, Kirk Hansen (Bonnie), and twins Mary Bergman and Erik Hansen; sister Donna Kopald; grandchildren Lissa Cullen and Josh Sayers; and great-grandson Finnegan Cullen.

Private services will be held at a later date in Phoenix.
