WATERLOO - Diane A. Tournier, 61, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born Feb. 11, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of Richard and Hazel Goodman Tournier. She married Kerry Swanson and they later divorced.

Diane graduated from Waterloo West High School and had worked as a secretary at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, for 18 years.

Survived by a son, Kyle (Missy Spore) Tournier of Waterloo; a grandson, Aiden Tournier; a brother, Walt (Kathleen) Tournier of Waterloo; a niece, Lindsey Hoover of Adel; and a nephew, Jay Tournier of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, with inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the chapel.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Diane loved her cat Maisey and enjoyed playing cards with friends every Saturday night.
