WATERLOO - Daniel "Dan" Milligan, 51, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital from complications of heart disease.

He was born Nov. 8, 1962, in Webster City, son of Donald Sr. and Betty Manley Milligan.

Dan was a meat cutter at Deals Super Value and Fareway in Waterloo for 35 years.

Survived by a daughter, Danielle (Bart) Milligan of Evansdale; a son, Joshua (Amanda) of Waterloo; his significant other, Mary Moore of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Jessica Huston of Waterloo and Katie Hahn of North Liberty; two grandchildren, Maesen Hahn and Brandie Peterson; three brothers, Donald Jr. (Sue) of Waterloo, Randy of Evansdale and Victor of Williamsburg; and a sister, Vickie (Butch) Thompson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Kathy Dulin and Sheila DeVore.

Family-directed memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Salvation Army Citadel. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
