CEDAR FALLS - Leona Storm, 96, of San Diego, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Sept. 6, 2005.

She was born Dec. 4, 1909, in Charter Oak, daughter of Henry and Ida Witt. She married C. Winston Wheeler on Sept. 9, 1934, in Denison. He died in February 1963. She married Harold W. Storm Sr. in April 1989. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Storm was associated with the Sweet Adelines in Waterloo and Cedar Falls for many years. She belonged to several quartets and enjoyed competitive singing. She also sang in the church choir and for years directed various youth choirs in the Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Thomas A. of San Diego; four grandsons; a stepson, Harold Storm of Denver, Colo.; and a stepdaughter, Ginger Martin of Dallas.

Memorial services 11 a.m. Friday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
