Barbara Jean Eicher, 75, of Denver, formerly of Waterloo, died at home Monday, May 19, 2014.

She was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Waterloo, daughter of C. Robert and Florence Walker. She married William Henry Eicher on Nov. 23, 1960, in Waterloo; he died March 14, 2006.

Barbara graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1956.

Survived by three sons, Scott (Terry) of Denver, Todd (Laura) of Monticello, Wis., and Andrew (Cara) Eicher of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Melanie Hagen of Denver; seven grandchildren, Drew and Derek Eicher, Cara and Brooke Hagen, and Allison, Skylar and Emma Eicher; and a brother, Alan (Marilyn) Walker of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a son-in-law, Marc Hagen.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
