Bonnie Kay Bloker, 66, of Janesville, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Waterloo, daughter of Clarence and Norma Mills Manross. On June 13, 1970, she married William Raymond Bloker at Janesville United Methodist Church.

Bonnie graduated from Waterloo East High School and was a member of Janesville United Methodist Church.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Shelley (Mark) Herbst of Denver; two sons, Benjamin (Jennifer) of Denver and Todd (Kimberly) of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Carter and Emily Herbst, and Luke and Drew Bloker; her mother of Waterloo; three brothers, Jerry (Ethel), Gary (Becky) and Rich (Judy) Manross; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Janesville United Methodist Church, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly.

Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

In her earlier years, Bonnie and Bill enjoyed dancing. More recently, her enjoyments included flowers, hummingbirds, watching old movies, preparing for and celebrating Christmas and spending time with her grandchildren. She is known for being a very good cook and also was a meticulous house keeper.
