WATERLOO - Eva L. Brown, 88, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 16, 1920, in New Hartford, daughter of Clyde L. and Blanche Morgan Hoffman. She married Roland M. Brown in Waterloo. He died in 1984.

Survived by a son, Buster D. (Patty) Brown of Waterloo; a daughter, Patricia J. Moes of Waterloo; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, William L. Hoffman of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a brother, Gwen Hoffman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
