WATERLOO - L. Faye Marvin, 90, formerly of 649 W. Parker St., died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Dec. 16, 1916, in Houston, Mo., daughter of Clarence and Margaret Roberts Bristow. She married Grant Marvin in Waterloo, and he preceded her in death in November 1966.

She was employed by the Rath Packing Co. in the sliced bacon department for 30 years, retiring in 1982.

Survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty Bristow and Wanda Bristow, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Roy M., Doyle, Avon and Lloyd Bristow.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
