WATERLOO - Ruth K. Zubak, 83, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 31, 2006 at home.

She was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Waterloo, daughter of Arthur and Christine Klein Racey. She married Frank J. Zubak Nov. 24, 1948, in Waterloo. He died Feb. 15, 1993.

Mrs. Zubak was employed with Rath Packing Co. for many years.

Survived by a son, Louis (Lisa) of Waterloo; a grandson, Joseph Zubak of Waterloo; and a sister, Mary Ehr of Jesup.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
