Helen Johnston, 86, of Morro Bay, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died April 28, 2005, in San Diego.

Preceded in death by husband, Dale; daughter, Joanne; and son, John Bruce.

Surviving daughter, Judy Johnston of San Diego; grandchildren, Brad and Kim Johnson; great-grandchildren, Noah, Grace and Caleb of Bakersfield, Calif.; and sister, Verna Curtis of Evansdale.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Morrow Bay.
