WATERLOO - Patricia Ann Comer, 70, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center of lung cancer.

She was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Mound, Minn., daughter of Harold and Mildred May Stiles. She married Raymond Konken and they later divorced. She married Richard Comer and they later divorced.

Patricia graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1961 and later the University of Northern Iowa. She was employed as a social worker with EPI until her retirement.

Survived by three sons, Jeffrey (Debbie) Konken of Waterloo, Brett (Sita) Konken of Beach Park, Ill., and Jason (Breann) Comer of Waterloo; a daughter, Angela (Roger) Reuter of Waterloo; ten grandchildren, Justin (Emily) Nicol, Scott Konken, Stephanie Nicol, Gary Konken, Desiree’ Konken, Dillon, Daniel, Anessa, Alana and David Comer; a great-granddaughter, Aria Goddard; three sisters, Bev Byford and Peggy (Danny) Weidman, both of Waterloo and Ann (Pearl) Stainbrook of Independence.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a great-nephew, Tristen Weidman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 2 p.m. rosary. Visitation also an hour before services Monday at the church.
