Theodore Becker died early this morning at his home, two miles south of Gilbertville. Altho subject to attacks of heart trouble for the past several years, he was ill by 15 minutes prior to death this morning.

Decedent was born in Germany, in 1867, and came to America in the spring of 1892.

Surviving are a widow and 10 children: Matt J. Becker, in service at Fort Bliss, Tex.; Mike, Julia, Joseph, Christina, Arnold, Barbara, Helen and Theodore M., the youngest, age four months. Also surviving are two brothers, Matt, Gilbertville, and Mike, Waterloo; two brothers and three sisters in Germany.

Funeral arrangements have not been made pending word from the son in service.
