WATERLOO - Michael Dean Frost, 27, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at his home.

He was born April 9, 1987, in Waterloo, son of Dean and Debra Hughes Frost.

Michael graduated from Don Bosco High School in 2005 and attended Hawkeye Community College. He was a machinist at Accurate Gear & Machine in Waterloo.

Survived by his parents of Gilbertville; a sister, Caley (David) Elliott of Waterloo; a brother, Matthew (Beth) of Waterloo; and two nephews, Caden and Spencer Elliott.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cletus Frost; paternal grandmothers, Dolores and Irma Frost; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Joan Hughes.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial in Sancta Maria Cemetery, both in Gilbertville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Bosco System or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Michael was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and the best friend anyone could have. He was an avid reader, a faithful Cub fan and an Iowa Hawkeye fan. He also loved to fish.
