RAYMOND -- Ronald Henry Weber, 54, of Raymond, died at home Monday, April 21, 2014, of cancer.

He was born Nov. 18, 1959, in Black Hawk County, son of Clarence Nicholas and Darlys Ida Doepke Weber. On July 27, 1985, he married Laura Anne Schaffer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Ronald graduated from Jesup High School, Jesup, in 1978, and then graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1982. He was employed by Menards in Waterloo as the millwork manager before his illness. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Nick (Sara) of Waterloo and Dan of Ames; three sisters, Sharon (Dan) Hambrock of Eagan, Minn., Judy (Jim) Meier of North Liberty and Marilyn (Victor) Kies of Cedar Rapids; and four brothers, his twin Donald (Rose), and Larry (Sue), both of Waterloo, and Dale C. (Brenda) and Gerald W. “Gerry” (Shelly), both of Jesup.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Janice and Lou Ann.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Raymond. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with a 4 p.m. Knights of Columbus rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church and American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
