GOLINVAUX, SHANNON, GORMAN, DESOLANIERS

Mrs. Amiel Golinvaux, 70. 415 Mullan Avenue east, died at 7:30 a. m. Wednesday in a Waterloo hospital. She had been a resident of Waterloo for 55 years.

Mary Shannon was born at Londonderry, Ireland, March 14, 1862. She came to Boston in 1874 with her parents, and at the age of 15 came to Waterloo with an uncle. She married Amiel Golinvaux in Waterloo, June 14, 1892.

Surviving besides her husband are one son. Dr. Vincent Golinvaux. 415 Mullan Avenue East, and two brothers,, Chris and Charles Shannon, and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Gorman and Mrs. Elizabeth Desolaniers, all of Boston, Mass.

Mrs. Golinvaux had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's church with Rev. Fr. Edmond Slattery, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The Rosary society of St. Joseph's church will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.
